Sample Receiving Process

  •  Sample Management unit of NFL, Ghaziabad receives sample through registered post/speed post/by hand/messenger in a sealed condition.
  • On receipt of the sample parcel an authorized officer examine the parcel and conditions of the seal on the outer cover of the parcel.
  • The authorized officer comparing the seal on the container and the outer cover with specimen seal impression received and the conditions of the seal thereon are to be noted down.
  • If the sample container is found broken, the requisition are made again to the concerned authorised officer for sending remaining 3rd part of the sample.
  • If the sample is fit for analysis then open the sample and the sample details are maintained in the Record Register followed by giving the unique Code to the   sample. One part of the same sample issued to M/s Arbro Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. (PP Partner) for analysis while the remaining part of the sample is kept under the safe custody of NFL’s Authorized Officer.
  • After receiving the sample by M/s APPL (PP Partner) they provide a Bar Code to the sample and register the sample in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Issue it to the respective analytical section for analysis.
  • For maintaining the high security of samples, NFL, Ghaziabad uses the Double Coding System (Unique Code and Bar Code).
  • After the analysis, analysts submit the data in LIMS alongwith raw data to the Technical Division of M/s APPL (PP Partner).
  • Deputy General Manager (Technical) of M/s APPL (PP Partner) verifies the data and submits the report in prescribed format to Sample Management unit of NFL, Ghaziabad.
  • NFL’s Authorised officer of Sample Management unit reviews the report and finalizes the analytical report in Prescribed Format (FORM-A &    FORM –B) and submits the draft to Director, NFL for approval.
  • After approval of the Draft, Certificate of Analysis (FORM-A &FORM-B) is prepared and signed by NABL Authorised signatory viz.  Director / Food Analyst and report are dispatched.
  • After signing and recording the “Certificate of Analysis” is sealed in the envelope and dispatched through Registered/Speed Post.
